On September 8th-11th 2025 was another successful Nordic trade mission to Seoul, South Korea!
During the trade mission, we received an in-depth overview of the K-pop market and visited several leading companies in the industry, including SM Entertainment, Kreation Music Rights, Hi Hat Entertainment, Warner Chappell Korea, Starship Entertainment, and more..
NORDIC MUSIC BIZ TOP 20 UNDER 30 CEREMONY
The Nordic music industry proudly unveils the 2025 edition of the Nordic Music Biz’ Top 20 Under 30, celebrating the most promising young professionals shaping the future of music across the region with a ceremony in Oslo, Norway.
Now in its eighth year, the initiative—established by NOMEX (Nordic Music Export)—recognizes 20 exceptional individuals under the age of 30 who are driving innovation, creativity, and global impact in the Nordic music scene.
The honourees represent a diverse cross-section of the industry, from artist management and live promotion to digital strategy and label leadership. Being included on the list has become a mark of distinction for young professionals and is seen as a springboard for further influence and opportunity within the music business.
NORDIC TRADE MISSION TO TOKYO, JAPAN - HOW WAS IT?
Between December 10th-13th NOMEX were in Tokyo, Japan for this years last nordic trade mission.
The trip was managed by Export Music Sweden, with support from consultants Haji Taniguchi and Lauren Rose Kosher.
During the visit, we met with companies such as CTGA, SURF Music, and Tower Records, received an overview of the Japanese market from Takayuki Suzuki of MusicTech, and visited YouTube Japan, Spotify Japan, and Warner Music Japan.
